Catherine L. Hann

NIAGARA COUNTY —

Catherine L. Hann, lifetime resident of Niagara County, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at her residence.  She was 89. She was born in Lewiston on June 14, 1923, a daughter of the late Hugh and Catherine (McCollum) St. John. She attended local schools and then worked as a nurse's aide at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital for 25 years. Mrs. Hann enjoyed her home, gardening, being with her friends at Bacon Memorial Church, and her beloved dog, Chico.
She is survived by her son, Richard Ross of New Mexico; her daughter, Catherine (James) Hagerman of Lewiston; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Terril Hann; granddaughter, Catherine Hagerman; great-great-granddaughter, Ayla Chuilli; and her sister, Joyce Smythe.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Ave., Today, May 8, 2013 from 11 AM until 12 noon, where funeral services will be held at 12 PM. Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in Riverdale Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston.
