Marylou Garfalo

LEWISTON — Marylou (Holka) Garfalo, 76, of Niagara Falls, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Martha (LeMay) Holka.

Marylou was raised in Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On November 16, 1957, she married Ricardo "Rick" J. Garfalo, Sr. in Niagara Falls, NY. She worked at the Century Club, as well as the Caravan Motel for 46 years, both in Niagara Falls, NY. Marylou was known to be the life of the party and her humor and wit were known by many. She was an excellent cook and baker with her home and table always full.  Marylou was also a great seamstress. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. When she saw her grand-children and great-grandchildren, her eyes would light up. She has left a void no one can ever fill but Marylou's love remains with us forever.
