Dr. Paul Cutler, 72, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY, after a brief illness. He was born on June 13, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to the late Harry and Lena (Rubinowitz) Cutler.
Dr. Cutler was a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School Class of 1965. On December 28, 1967, he married the former Beverly A. Randolph in Pasadena, CA. She passed away on September 1, 2007. Dr. Cutler practiced medicine for the past 49 years and had special interest in nutrition, autism, chelation and preventative medicine. Throughout this time, Paul had offices in Toronto, St. Catharines, Burlington and Niagara Falls, NY, retiring in January 2013 due to illness. He was an active member and donor to local art museums and enjoyed travel, reading and collecting art in his down time.
He is survived by two children, Sean (Goldberry Long) Cutler of Riverside, CA and Michelle (R. (Orin Litman) of Toronto, Ontario; five grandchildren, Riley and Maxwell Cutler-Long and Kobe, Beck and Jude Litman; his dear companion, Judy Stephenson of Lewiston, NY; and a brother, Jerry (Sue Lyons) Cutler of Bancroft, ON. Dr. Cutler was predeceased by his parents and wife.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, Military Rd., Lewiston, NY. Dr. Laurence Boxer, officiating. The family will receive friends at Dr. Cutler's residence, Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. Arrangements by SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
