NIAGARA FALLS —

Lois McCaskill was born on February 28, 1933 in Brewton, AL, to the late Jewel Lean and Robert Charles Moore. She married the love of her life, James Monroe McCaskill in 1951. They moved to Niagara Falls, NY in 1953.
She began working in area tourist homes. Shortly, thereafter, she became a domestic in the Niagara Falls and Lewiston area. In addition, she cared for the Battaglia, Olson, and Dillon families, to name a few as her own, and loved and nurtured a multitude of children throughout her life.
Lois was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She served on the Board of Missions and the Nutrition Ministry. She enjoyed visiting the sick and shut-in with her two friends, Mrs. Pearlie Hart and Mrs. Rosie B. Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories loving daughters, Elaine (Terry) Hart of Avondale, AZ and Marilyn Stallworth of Niagara Falls, NY; grandchildren, Laterio Humphrey, Letitia Humphrey and Shayla Hart. She also has two great-grandsons, Laterio "Ty" and Terion Humphrey; a host of relatives and friends to cherish her legacy. She was predeceased by her husband; and son, Charles McCaskill.
Visitation on Thursday at 11 AM in New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral to follow at Noon. Burial in Riverdale Cemetery. Arrangements by Williamson Funeral Home, 635 Main St.
