Doreena C. Bedore

NIAGARA FALLS — Doreena C. Bedore, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012, in the Schoellkopf Health Care Center, Niagara Falls, NY.

She was born in Marmora, Ontario  on June 17, 1924, the daughter of the late George and Emma (Guay) Bedore.

Miss Bedore was employed with the Acme Screw and Gear Co. in Toronto for over 25 years, before moving to Niagara Falls, NY in 1975. She then became a tour guide with Bedore Tours,  before retiring in 2000. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

Miss Bedore is survived by one brother, Michael (late Marie) Bedore of Stouffville, Ontario;aunt of  Joseph G. (Reda) Bedore, Vincent B. (Mary Lou)  Bedore, George E. (Rose) Bedore, Eileen M. (late David) Fleck and Janice A. (Brian) O'Donnell; also many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Bedore and  Rose O'Brien.   

The family will be present on Sunday from 4-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral   services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM,  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street,  Lewiston, NY. Memorials may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer's Association. Inurnment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Visit for guest register.
