LOCKPORT — Eileen Wisor, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, died on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in     Niagara Hospice House. She was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, England on July 14, 1935, a  daughter of the late Walter Robert Simpson and Elsie Harwood Simpson.

She enjoyed her life as a military wife traveling around the world, especially in the Philippines. Eileen worked at Mom's Coffee Shop as a waitress for 36 years, retiring in 2008.

She adored her children and her grandchildren and was happiest when she was knitting,      crocheting or sewing something for them. She also kept herself busy with her beautiful rose garden, doing the occasional crossword puzzle and in her younger years, dance roller skating at carousel roller rink with friends. She was passionate about animals and loved them all. Eileen's favorite time of year was Christmas when she would find just the right gifts, bringing smiles to their faces.

Survivors include three children, Tracy Knight (Gary Kammerdeiner) of Niagara Falls; Teri Knight Pellegrino (Walter Pallowy) of Niagara Falls, Ont. and Steven Knight (Maureen) of Grand Island; her sister, Patricia Roome of King's Lynn England; six grandchildren, Jaclyn Kammerdeiner, Peter John and Alyshia Pellegrino, Shawna and Stephanie Knight, and Amanda Diamond and her dog, Mickey.    

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8:30 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 PM. The interment will be private in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Niagara Hospice House.
