Eleanor M. Drago

LOCKPORT — Eleanor M. Drago, 84, entered into peace on August 11, 2013, at Hospice Jeanne's House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Celestine Soro of Niagara Falls, NY, and the daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Sarah Drago of Lockport.

Eleanor loved her family and loved dancing with her late husband, Angelo. She was an        excellent artist and swimmer. Truly Eleanor was a beautiful woman.

Eleanor retired from Niagara County Social Services as an administrative assistant and also worked for Mount View Hospital as an administrative assistant.

Her husband, Angelo J. Drago, predeceased her on April 4, 2000. She was also predeceased by her son, Joseph A. Drago.

Eleanor is survived by her two children, her daughter, Gail (Frank) Ventry of Lewiston and her son, Gary Drago. She is survived by her three sisters, Ann (Joseph) Casciano of Amherst, Mary(late Joseph) Sirianni and Mary Palimeno of Niagara Falls, NY. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Adrienne (Jake) Wolfe, Connstance Drago, Garrett (Megan) Ventry, Brandon and Zachary Ventry, and Nicholas Drago; and three wonderful great-grandchildren, Isabella, Victoria and Anthony. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Corinne (late Anthony) Alongi of North Tonawanda, Mary (late Paul) Pichey of Lockport and Bessie (Ron) Patnode of Florida, and the late Francis Drago. Eleanor is survived by many nieces and nephews and many loved ones. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John(late Angie) Soro and the late Sam Soro of Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John (late Angie) Soro and the late Sam Soro of Niagara Falls, NY.

Eleanor was laid to rest on Wednesday, August 14th, at Cold Springs Cemetery.

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."
