NIAGARA FALLS —
Richard Brown, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, left to join the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2013 at home. He was 54. Born in Niagara Falls on January 8, 1959, he was one of five children born to Joseph N. and Joyce J. (Koban) Brown. He served in the US Army from 1976 until his honorable discharge in 1980. Richard worked as a supervisor for Moroon Siding. He was a bartender at Captain Jack's Hilton. Richard was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky (Bekota) Brown; step-son, Michael Holinka, Jr.; siblings, Patricia Dudek (Michael) of Las Vegas; Russell Brown (Candance VanEpps) of the Town of Wheatfield, Donna Gwizdowski (Jim) of Niagara Falls and Robert Brown of Niagara Falls; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Kelly, Kevin, Nikki, Nina and Jamie Gwizdowski, whom he enjoyed attending Buffalo Bills games with; great-niece, Sophia; and his soulmate, Linda Allan.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2013 in St. John de LaSalle RC Church, 8469 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The Lane Funeral Home, Inc., is handling the arrangements.
