Maureen J. Orzolick

NIAGARA FALLS —

Maureen J. (Fekete) Orzolick, former resident of Niagara Falls, and currently of Wilson, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was 64. She was born in Niagara Falls on June 23, 1949, a daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Sosnowski) Fekete.
She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She married John Orzolick in 1971 and they remained happily married for 32 years until his passing in 2004. Mrs. Orzolick was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, painting, gardening, and cooking.
She is survived by her four children, John (Jen) Orzolick, Aaron Orzolick, Derek Orzolick, and Nicole Orzolick. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Darien, Ella, Emma, Ava and Owen; her siblings, Charlie (Donna) Fekete, Patricia (Steve) Daily, Kathy (Ed) Hess, Joe (Heather) Fekete, Bob (Cheryl) Fekete, Ron Fekete, and Teresa (Keith) Naylor; her father-in-law, Walter (late Erma Sorrentino) Orzolick; and her dear friend, Lonnie. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Alysa.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Ave., on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held at 8 PM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
