Glenda Lee Walker

LEWISTON — Glenda Lee (Woods) Walker, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, died on Saturday,          October 12, 2013 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was born in Clearfield, PA on May 26, 1947, the daughter of Frederick and Edna "Louise" (Jordon) Woods. She and her family moved to this area when she was a child. She attended Wilson schools and Kelley Business Institute.

Mrs. Walker worked at Northgate Manor Health Care Facility as a certified nurse's assistant for  several years until 1993. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, cherishing her times with them. She also liked to bowl and shop.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Walker, Jr. (Michelle) and William Walker (Diane), both of North Carolina; daughter, Bobbie Kim Holland (Terrell) of Niagara Falls; sisters, Ilean Woods and Kellie Woods, both of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Moses Munoz, Ashley, Josh and Brendin Walker, Patrick, Malik, Santana, Makayla and Tasia Holland; three great-grandchildren, David, Ryan and Marianna Johnson and three nephews, Jamie Woods, Dylan Myers and Nicholas Szczerba.

Family present Monday from 4-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo       Avenue, where services will be held at 8 PM. The interment will be private in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Susan G. Koman Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
