CHANDLER, AZ —
Patricia Ann (Reese) Stover, of Chandler, AZ, went to join the heavenly choir July 19, 2013.
Pat was born September 20, 1939, in Niagara Falls, NY. She graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School in New York and The Woman's Hospital of Philadelphia Nursing School. She worked many years as a registered nurse at Phoenix's Good Samaritan Hospital and continued her career as an office nurse and an industrial nurse at Motorola.
She had a love for animals, flying and was a member of the Ninety-Nines. Pat sang for many years as a member of Tempe's Dayspring Methodist Church choir.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Eugene "Smokey" Stover; son, David (Sydney); brothers, Robert "Bob" (Pauline) and Tom (Sue) Reese of Youngstown, NY, and H. William "Bill" (Michele) Reese of Gilbert, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kay Logan.
A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, July 27, at Dayspring United Methodist Church, 1365 E. Elliot Road, Tempe, AZ. A private interment will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations be sent to Sun Valley Hospice, 7227 E. Baseline Road, Ste. 209, Mesa, AZ 85209, or (480) 558-2002.
