Marie Ann Shannon

VIRGINIA BEACH —  

Marie Ann Shannon, 58, passed away in her home on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
She is predeceased in death by her father, Benjamin Walck; and her ex-husband, David Shannon. She is survived by her daughter, April Threet (Anthony) of Virginia; her son, John Shannon (Deborah) and granddaughter, Natalya of West Point, NY; her mother, Lorena Broecker (Burton); her three sisters, Louise Schildhauer (Gary), Barbara St. Onge, Linda DeDario (Charles); many nieces and nephews; and her companion, Dan Light. She loved her dogs and enjoyed the warm sunny weather at the beach and poolside.  A memorial service will be held at DuBois Funeral Home in Bergholz at 11 AM on Saturday, November 10th.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA at 757-622-3319 x 115.
