PENSACOLA, FL —
Ronkia Nicole Sconiers, born in Buffalo, NY to Dollie (Cornelius) Corman and Ronald Sconiers, passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2013 in Pensacola, FL, after a brief illness.
Ronkia attended Escambia High School. She enjoyed fashion, doing hair and music. She loved being a mother to Jay'vyn and helping caring for her mother. Ronkia was looking forward to completing her education and joining the Navy.
She is survived by her son, Jay'vyn Sconiers; parents, Dollie (Cornelius) Coram and Ronald (Stephanie) Sconiers. Also survived by Tieronda Sconiers, Ronnete Sconiers, LaChrista Sconiers, Ronkayla Sconiers, Shevah Sconiers, Shamere Sconiers, Shekinah Sconiers and Keyanti Sconiers of Niagara Falls, NY. She is also survived by Levance Coran, Tameiko Coram, Keyada Banks of Buffalo, NY, Monica Coram of Fayetteville, NC; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
A memorial service Celebrating the Life of Ronkia Nicole Sconiers will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 11 AM. The parents of Ronkia will receive family and friends starting at 10:30 AM. Services will start promptly at 11 AM. Elder Joyce Sconiers will be officiating. The service will be held at Higher Ground Christian Center, 1601 Cleveland Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where Pastor Willie Flynn is host Pastor.
