Jean Fitch

LEWISTON — Jean Fitch, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, died on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, following a brief illness. She was 92. A leap year baby, she was born February 29, 1920 in Niagara Falls, Ontario to the late Bertram and Ethel (Parsons) Price.

Mrs. Fitch was secretary to Niagara Falls attorney George A. Orr and secretary for Niagara County Savings Bank. She also worked at the former Beir's Department Store as a gift wrapper in later years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Howard A. Fitch, in July 1979. She was the loving and  devoted mother to William H. Fitch of Niagara Falls and Randall Fitch (Diane) of Las Vegas;     dearest grandmother of Christopher and Daniel Fitch and great-grandmother to Taylor.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston. The LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., is handling the arrangements.
