Edith E. Coble

NIAGARA FALLS —  

Edith E. (Canestaro) Coble, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House Lockport, NY. Born in Cortland, NY on August 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Carmen and Angelina (Bisaccia) Canestaro and attended schools there.
Edith was employed for five years at Niagara University for their food service department. She was a member of VFW Post #1451, enjoyed playing cards, bingo, going to the casino, spending time with family and friends and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Coble, Leah (Keith) Martineau and Renee (Dale) Evans; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold Coble; eleven brothers and four sisters.
THERE IS NO PRIOR VISITATION. Funeral services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements were entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC.
