William E. "Bill" Cook

LEWISTON — William E. "Bill" Cook, 76 years old, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. He was born in Westernport, MD on December 8, 1937, the son of the late Harry E. and Mary Catherine (Wilson) Cook and moved to Niagara Falls in 1954. He was a graduate of the former Trott Vocational High School.

Many years ago Bill worked for the former Kimberly Clark Corporation. He was then             employed as a liquor distributor at Queen City Distributors and retired in 1998. Bill was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills, and was a member of the former Moose Lodge. He was also a coach for Little Loop Football.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Cathy Lynn Leslie and his sister, Jeannie (Richard) Kudela of Niagara Falls; granddaughters, Nicole and Noelle McCoy; his nephews, Richard (Jessica) Kudela and Paul (Danielle) Kudela and his niece, Katie (Terence Pratt) Kudela. Bill was predeceased by his son, William Arthur Cook.

Private funeral services and burial were held at Oakwood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14303, (716)284-1573.
