Mary Delores Madsen

LOCKPORT — Mary Delores Madsen, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House. She was 94.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 4, 1918, she attended schools here and was graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She worked many years for the former DeVeaux Manor's housekeeping department. Mrs. Madsen enjoyed traveling and spending time with her beloved family, especially her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Wife of the late Eric Madsen; mother of Martin Madsen of Niagara Falls and Karen Cicero (late   Peter) of Niagara Falls, and the late Donna Rick; sister of Betsy Adams of Niagara Falls and the late Patricia, Verna, Rosie, Alfred and William; grandmother of nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; aunt of  many nieces and nephews.

The family will be present Thursday from 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where services will be held following the visitation at 8 PM. The interment will be private in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials, if    desired, may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
