Craig Elizabeth Latham

KENMORE — Craig Elizabeth Latham, 63, of Tonawanda, NY, died on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Kenmore, NY. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Elma (Martini) Latham.

In 1956 Craig came to Niagara Falls, NY with her family and attended local schools. She      formerly resided in Niagara Falls and participated with community service programs through the Community Vocational Rehabilitation Center (CVRC). She currently resided at the Syracuse IRA in Tonawanda and participated in the service programs affiliated with ASPIRE. Craig loved to do latch hook projects, solve crossword puzzles, work on her computer and go to bingo. She also had a passion for cats and enjoyed traveling to Florida.

Craig is survived by two sisters, Sharon (Edward) Newberg of Valrico, FL; Denise (late Emilio) Colabello of North Syracuse, NY; one brother, Marcus (Pamela) Latham of Niagara Falls, NY; her nieces and nephews, Thomas (Jennifer) Newberg, Timothy (Robin) Newberg, Tony (Laura) Newberg, Christopher Colabello, Bridget Colabello (Daniel) Brietbeck and Michael (Kelly) Colabello; one aunt, Nelda (nee Martini) (late Edward) Hammers and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Craig touched many lives and was loved dearly by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 22nd from 2-5 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON       NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, concluding with a     memorial service at 5 PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Cerebral Palsy, 9812 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
