Lillian Lauzonis


Lillian (Kulik) Lauzonis, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2012, with her daughters at her side at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. Born on September 4, 1930 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Kulik and attended local schools there.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura (Jeffrey) Schrett of Nashville, TN, Beth (Anthony Nicoletti) Lauzonis of Niagara Falls; and granddaughter, Chelsea Schrett. She was also the mother of her late daughter, Carolyn Lauzonis Rosati. Surviving brothers are Richard Kulik and Anthony (Maxine) Kulik both of Buffalo, NY; her sister, Adeline (Alfonso) Urban of Indiana; very special cousin, Alphonse Kulik of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Tony Lauzonis; brothers, Vito Kulik, Alphonse Kulik; and sister, Ruth Suhar.
Lillian married Anthony Lauzonis in 1959 and moved to Niagara Falls. She was employed at Jenss on Main Street and at K-Mart. She greatly enjoyed being an active member and volunteer at the John Duke Senior Center in addition to her various volunteering positions over the years wherever needed.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 1st from 12-2 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC., 319-24th St., corner of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM in Divine Mercy Parish, 24th and Niagara St., with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
