Laurie Rebon

YOUNGSTOWN — Jesus called Laurie Rebon, 56, of Youngstown, NY, home suddenly Monday, June 10, 2013, after succumbing to injuries suffered in a car accident. Born October 4, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Rebon, Sr. and Nancy (Reitmulder) Rebon, Sr. and attended local schools. Laurie was a member of St. Bernard's RC Church and her greatest love in life was her grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her best friend, Mary and her dog, Madison.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her sons, Justin C. (Robyn) Rebon, Sr. of Grand Island, NY and Bart (Jessica) Rebon of Lockport, NY; her grandchildren, Justin Jr., Jared, Eian, Noah, Jacob, Cassie, Taylor, Slena and Chloe; sister, Dorrie Rebon; brother, Charles Rebon, Jr., both of Youngstown, NY; aunt and uncle, Joe (Arlene)Adamson of Florida; niece, Gabrielle Rebon; nephew,  Charles Rebon III; cousin, James Rebon of Youngstown, NY; her best friend, Mary Grochala and Crystal Volk, the mother of grandchildren Justin Jr. and Jared. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call Friday, June 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.,  319-24th St., cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, June 15, at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard's RC Church, 218 Hinman St., Youngstown, NY 14174, with Monsignor Thomas Moran officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Laurie's memory may be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) Western New York Chapter, 331 Alberta Drive, Suite 106, Buffalo, NY 14226; or The Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, 1260 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209.
