NIAGARA FALLS —
Carolyn E. (Nablo) Marshall, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, after a brief illness. She was 76. She was born in Niagara Falls on March 27, 1937, a daughter of the late Elliot and Ethel (Gray) Nablo. She attended local schools and then worked as a computer operator for Niagara University for 32 years until her retirement.
Mrs. Marshall was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church where she was President of the Women's Society for nine years. She was also a past member of the Red Hatters Society and she enjoyed baking, cooking and playing cards, but her greatest joy was her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin E. (Maria) Marshall, Sr. and Darren C. (Lisa) Marshall, both of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Christopher, Kragh, Molly, Steven and Jennifer.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Ave., on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 8210 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery in the Town of Cambria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Marshall's name to the First United Methodist kitchen fund.
