Ronald O. Dennis

NIAGARA FALLS —

Ronald O. Dennis, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Leander Parko Dennis and Olive Beatrice (Douglas) Dennis.
Ronnie, as he was known to everyone, was employed at Bausch and Laumb and the Genesee Brewing Company both in Rochester, NY. More recently, he worked as a cook at the Hyde Park Golf Course Greens Restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY. Ronnie enjoyed reading, cooking, watching baseball, playing Euchre and Bingo. But his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and most of all playing with his grandchildren.
Ronnie was predeceased by his longtime companion, Giovanna "Joni" Torcasio Dennis. He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Carl (Cindy) Dennis of Orlando, FL, Wayne (Mary) Dennis of Detroit, MI, Shawn M. Grosskopf of Tonawanda, NY and Neal P. (April) Dennis of Niagara Falls, NY; six grandchildren, Brittany and Brooke Dennis, Karisa Grosskopf, Lexie Hammond, Anthony and Santino Dennis; one great-grandchild, Mason Ligammari; one step daughter, Kim Arcuri; two brothers and one sister, Harry Dennis, Betty Anderson and Bud Dennis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his stepson, Michael Arcuri; and several brothers.
At the request of Ronnie, he preferred to have no visitation or funeral services in his honor. He just wanted all of his family and friends to live life and be happy. Arrangements by M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468-19th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.
