Sharon L. Alfiere Caruana

NORTH TONAWANDA — Sharon L. Alfiere Caruana, of North Tonawanda, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was 50. Sharon was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 22, 1963, the daughter of the late John and Jenny (Gionnie) Alfiere. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.

Sharon worked for Adelphia Cable Company for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting. She was an avid cook and fitness advocate.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Caruana of North Tonawanda; five siblings, Linda        Barauskas (Edward) of Niagara Falls; Diane Allison (Richard) of North Tonawanda; Patricia    Alfiere of Niagara Falls; James Alfiere (Tricia) of Lewiston, and Anthony Alfiere of Niagara Falls; also survived by many nieces, nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

The family will be present Monday after 7 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where prayers will be said at 8 PM. A memorial Mass will be celebrated  Tuesday 10 AM in St. Jude the Apostle R.C. Church, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North        Tonawanda. The interment will be private in St. Joseph RC Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
