Kathleen Dixon

LEWISTON — Kathleen (Saulino) Dixon, longtime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away on Wednesday,         January 22, 2014, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. She was 65. She was born in Columbus, OH on August 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Patrick and Audrey (McDonald) Saulino.  She moved to Niagara Falls as a child, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.

Mrs. Dixon worked for many years at Child World at the Summit Park Mall until its closing, and then worked as an Assistant Manager at Family Dollar on Pine Avenue.

She was a huge Michael Bolton fan and she enjoyed reading and going to the casino, but her greatest joy was her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Shane (Melissa) Dixon of Florida, and Jeffrey (Kellie) Dixon of  Niagara Falls; her sister, Diane (Michael) Cirrincione of California and her dear friend,      Debbie (Ted) Lopez of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Anthony Cooper, and Jordan, Andrew and David Dixon; her brother-in-law, Peter (Sharon) Dixon of Niagara Falls; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, David E. Dixon (1999); and her brother, Patrick Saulino, Jr.

There will be no prior visitation and burial will be at the convenience of the family in Riverdale Cemetery in the Town of Lewiston. Arrangements made by the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC.
