Dorothy Harper

NIAGARA FALLS — Dorothy Harper, 84, of Niagara Falls, passed away quietly January 22, 2014, at her residence, under the care of her loving family.

Born June 7, 1929 in Georgianna, AL, the daughter of the late Mack and Olivia (Brewer) Rich.

Dorothy moved to Niagara Falls in 1946. She had employment at various health care facilities. She was a longtime faithful member of the Mt. Erie Baptist Church where she served as missionary, and the mother of the church. She enjoyed singing and bible study.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Bob Harper. Surviving are three children, Betty A. Harper, Darlene Morrison and Bobbie J.(Yvonne) Harper; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Lee (Ivy) Rich, Glenwood Rich, Marie Anderson, Bonnie Holmes and Janice Rich. Also predeceased siblings, JT Rich, Donald Rich, Rayvell Rich, Willie Mack Rich, Willie James Rich, Bernard Rich, Lillie Dean Rich and Jerry Pugh. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation, Monday at 10 AM in the Mt. Erie Baptist Church, 1152 Fairfield Ave. Funeral to      follow at 11 AM. Burial, Riverdale Cemetery. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main St.
