Judith A. Rowh

GRAND ISLAND — Judith A. (nee Gordineer) Rowh, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully passed from this life on  Friday, June 27, 2014 in Elderwood at Grand Island. Born on February 17, 1944 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Raby) Gordineer, Sr.

Judy, as she was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Judy later earned her associate's degree from Erie County Community College. She was employed as a Mental Hygiene Therapy Aide for Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Judy was a lifelong member of the former Pierce Avenue Presbyterian Church.

Judy is survived by three children, Jennifer (Robert) Kennedy of Albany, NY, Christopher Rowh of the Town of Niagara, NY, and William (Tamara) Rowh of Arizona; six grandchildren, William Rowh II, Annalise Rowh, Kyle Kennedy, Emma Kennedy, Xackery Rowh and Brayden Rowh and one great-grandson, Logan Rowh. She is also survived by one sister, Barbara (late Ted) Wodzinski of Walden, NY; one half-brother, William Gordineer, Jr.; her former spouse, Delford Rowh of Niagara Falls, NY, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where a funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th at 10:00 AM. Prayers of committal and interment will continue in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery in Lewiston, NY.
