Gregory B. Greer

NIAGARA FALLS —

Gregory B. Greer, 36, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Donald and Glenda (Black) Greer.
Greg, as he was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. On October 3, 2009 he married Candace (Cubello) Greer at the Tuscarora Baptist Church in Sanborn, NY. For the past five years, Greg was employed as a plumber by Gross Plumbing in Niagara Falls. While growing up and throughout his high school years, Greg played hockey and football. He later enjoyed hunting and was an avid football fan, particularly of the Chicago Bears. Above all, Greg devoted his life to his work and family. He will be remembered greatly as an outstanding father who always put the needs of the family first.
In addition to his wife and parents, Greg is survived by six children, Selena Chew, Allison Greer, Creed Hill, Gracie Greer, Abigail Greer and Gregory Greer; one sister, Amanda (Terry) Greer; his brother-in-law, Josh Cubello; as well as six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 28th from 12 Noon - 3 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY, where a funeral service will follow at 3 PM with Robert Fink officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations in memory of Greg may be made to the Greer Children Trust Fund at any Niagara's Choice Credit Union location.
