Annemarie Erika Boyer, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls and a current resident at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Center, died on June 24, 2014 in Mount. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. She was 87. She was born in Detmold, Germany on November 13, 1926, a daughter of Hermann and Marie (Steffen) Sielemann. She moved to Niagara Falls in the 1950s.
Mrs. Boyer worked for the Carborundum Company, Globar Division, as a parts assembler and in the furnace room. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish (Prince of Peace) and St. John de LaSalle R.C. Church.
She is survived by two children, Evelyne Boyer of Niagara Falls and Arthur Boyer of State College, PA; a brother, Hermann Sielemann of Germany; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ingrid Boyer and a brother, Wilfried Sielemann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM MONDAY, JULY 14th in St. John de LaSalle R.C. Church, 8477 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. The family will be present to receive friends on MONDAY, JULY 14th, following the Mass, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. The interment will be held JULY 15th, in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
