Stanley L. Kinaszewic

NIAGARA FALLS — Stanley L. Kinaszewic, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 22, 2013, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls on July 18, 1940, he was the son of the late Stanley and Ludwika (Depa) Kinaszewic and attended local schools. Stanley worked at various plants in Niagara Falls until settling into his career as a Building Inspector for 30 years for the City of Niagara Falls, until his retirement as Chief Building Inspector for Niagara Falls. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and was very proud of his Polish heritage. Stanley enjoyed Polka music, playing euchre with the Wable family and        spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed being a Dziadzi to his two grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Dzi"; his faithful dog, Scrappy and cat, Max, who he adopted for his grandkids. On September 26, 1964, he married the love of his life, Nancy, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristin (Joe) Bos of Niagara Falls, NY; loves of his life, his grandchildren, Alicia "Licie" and Joseph "Joey" Jr.; brothers, Alfred and Thomas Osypian. Also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years on June 19, 2011; and his sister, Sophie Jaworski.

Friends may call Saturday, July 27th, from 7-9 PM and Sunday, July 28th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th Street, cor. of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14303, where funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM on Monday, July 29th, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. Mary's of the Cataract R.C. Church, 259-4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
