Patterson Tweed

BUFFALO — Patterson Tweed, of Niagara Falls, died on Friday, July 5, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital.  He was 78.

He was born in Greenville, TN on July 26, 1934 to Otis and Hathaway (Franklin) Tweed, serving in the US Army.

In earlier years, he worked for Moore Business Forms and retired from Harrison Radiator as an inspector in assembly in 1992. During the early 1970s he owned Pat's Pizzeria in Ransomville. He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement, sharing in as many family activities as he could. He also liked to play bingo and loved horse racing.

He is survived by two brothers, Otis Tweed of Niagara Falls and Douglas Tweed of Bradenton, FL; his sister-in-law, Delores Tweed of Niagara Falls; 22 nieces and nephews and many great- nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Woodrow (late Josephine) and James E. Tweed, Wanda Smith (late Paul) and Shirley Fluharty (late Richard).

Friends may call Sunday from 6-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo       Avenue, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
