NIAGARA FALLS —
Roxanne Fields departed this life on June 15, 2014, after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 8, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY to Evangelist Annie Jean Clark and Leroy Sims (deceased). "Foxy Roxy" as she was well-known by family and friends, was full of life. She loved to sing, dance, and spend time with her grandchildren and family. Foxy Roxy attended local schools as a child, enjoyed shopping, and we all know she loved cracking jokes.
Roxanne leaves to cherish a daughter, Katrina Fields of Niagara Falls, NY; and son, Corey Fields, Sr. of Decatur, GA. She also leaves to cherish five grandchildren, Kha'Myah Fields-Massey, O'Lashiantae Fields, Quajniere Wynn, all of Niagara Falls, NY, Corey Fields, Jr., and Alexa Fields of Charlotte, NC; five sisters, Rosalind (Roy) Scott, Cynthia Pickett, Cathy Ewing, all of Niagara Falls, NY, Annette Nabors of Sandy Springs, GA, Michelle Clark of Atlanta, GA and Shiela (JD) Donley of Chicago, IL. Predeceased by her sister, Kathy West; two brothers, James (Claretta) Clark of Conyers, GA and Leroy Sims of Chicago, IL; two aunts, Freddie Mae Bones of Niagara Falls, NY, and Gwendolyn (Lawrence) Turner of Berkley, IL; one Goddaughter and best friend, Nicole Bradley; and a very, very, dear companion, Floyd Thomas.
Visitation for friends are Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 11 AM to Noon. Funeral services to follow immediately after at 12 Noon in the New Jerusalem Revival Center. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main St.
