Marilyn graduated from LaSalle Senior High in 1949. She continued to be a part of the class of 49, as she planned and participated on many class reunion committees through the years and was the glue that held it together. Not to be forgotten is her dear friend, Josephine "Finnie" Liske of whom she shared many hours of great conversations about life.

Marilyn will be lovingly remembered for her zest for life, kind heart and gentle spirit. "God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers."
