Edward C. Hanson

BUFFALO — Edward C. Hanson, 59, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away July 21, 2013, at Buffalo General     Hospital. He was born November 20, 1953 in Niagara Falls, NY, and was the son of the late      Edward and Jean M. (Brashear) Hanson. Edward owned and operated Rainbow Taxi and also worked for Niagara Falls Coach Lines for 10 years.

He is survived by his children, Scott E. (Fiorella) Hanson of Bronx, NY, Bryan (Connie) Dillen of Buffalo, NY, and Amy Ciskiewic of Niagara Falls, NY; brother, Walter E. Hanson of the Town of  Niagara and sister, Charlene Hanson of Niagara Falls, NY; girlfriend of 38 years, Linda Dillen of Niagara Falls, NY. Also several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Darell Dillen.

There will be No Prior Visitation. A memorial service honoring Edward will take place on         Saturday, August 10th, at 5 PM in Creekside Assembly of God, 2625 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst, NY 14228. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers,     donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association of WNY Inc., 210 John Glenn Drive #3, Buffalo, NY 14228. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
