Harper Pippens

NIAGARA FALLS — Harper Pippens, 89, of Niagara Falls, passed away July 14, 2013, at his residence.

Born June 14, 1924 in Birmingham, AL, the son of the late Harper Pippens, Sr. and Fannie Mae (Simmons).

Mr. Pippens was a retired carpenter and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Virgil, Shirley, Deborah, Antoinette, Freida, Christopher (Catrice), Angela, Carmen, Wenford, Rod, Collette and predeceased by Alicia; siblings, Fannie Gray and Thelma Whiteside. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Thursday 11 AM in the Potters House Christian Community Church where funeral       services will follow at Noon. Burial, Oakwood.  Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main Street.
