Attilio J. Corradini

NORTH TONAWANDA — Attilio J. Corradini, 87, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Northgate Manor in North Tonawanda, NY. Born in Civitanova, Marche, Italy, he was the son of the late Alfredo and Adele (Cognigni) Corradini.

Born and educated in Civitanova, Marche, Italy, Attilio immigrated to the United States in the early 1950s, and shortly after came to the Niagara Falls area. On May 23, 1953, he married Eleanor M. (Marisa) Corradini in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Mrs. Corradini predeceased him on December 28, 2003. Attilio was employed as a laborer at the Tulip Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY until retiring in 1989. He was a member of the LaSalle Sportsman's Club in the Town of Niagara and the Moose Lodge in Niagara Falls. Attilio was an avid bowler and participated in many area leagues with his wife. He also enjoyed gardening and walking. He particularly enjoyed his walks around Goat Island and Pine Avenue during which he had the opportunity to meet many friends.

Attilio is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. (John) Kennedy of Niagara Falls, NY; one        granddaughter, Loretta (Vincent Jr.) Piaskowski of Niagara Falls, NY; one great-granddaughter, Sophia; one brother, Nelio (Elsie) Corradini of Canada; two sisters, Enia (late Arnoldo) DeMarco and Maria (late Giovanni) Lelli, both of Italy, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-7 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28th at 10 AM, with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northgate Manor, 7264 Nash Road, North Tonawanda, NY  14120.
