Carole Eva Couturiaux

NIAGARA FALLS — Carole Eva Couturiaux (Young), age 69, completed her earthly journey and was peacefully called to her heavenly home on November 11, 2012, at her North Tonawanda residence. Born in Philipsburg, PA on September 4, 1943. She was a 1961 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School. Carole moved to Western NY as a teen and later became a devoted homemaker and mother.  She enjoyed sewing and loved her pets, especially her baby, Clara Mae.

Survivors include three children, Brenda (Steve Ritchie) Saraceno, Robert (Becky) Couturiaux and Daniel Couturiaux; three stepchildren, Mary Hill, Roberta and Mark Couturiaux; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Chrystene, Kaylee, Robert III, Clayton and Dylan; her former husband and friend, Robert (Sue) Couturiaux, Sr.; and special friends, Marge and Steve Gelnette, and Kay Prictcher.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz), in         Wheatfield on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher on Wednesday at 8:00 PM, following visitation. A private interment with the family will take place in Acacia Park Cemetery on Thursday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
