Alice M. Croisdale

NIAGARA FALLS — Alice M. (Dunton) Croisdale, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, wife of the late Gerald L. Croisdale,    entered into rest on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY, following a lengthy illness. Born on  December 27, 1921 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Barber) Dunton.

Mrs. Croisdale was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. Alice attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. For 19 years, she worked for the city of Niagara Falls as a crossing guard. Mrs. Croisdale enjoyed attending church.

Mrs. Croisdale is survived by two children, William Croisdale of Niagara Falls, NY and Sandra (David) Schroeder of California; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Alice is also survived by two sisters, Grace Scarupa and Jean Bolea; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband; she was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Davis and Marilyn Berger.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Monday, November 12th, at 2:00 PM in First Assembly of God (in the Fellowship Hall), 9750  Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY. Private burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to the DementiaCare Foundation, 69531-213th Street, Darwin, MN 55324-6602.                            Arrangements were entrusted to the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (297-9007).
