Michele M. Kos


Michele M. (Licata) Kos, 60 years old, of the Town of Niagara, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Niagara Falls on February 12, 1953, the daughter of the late Samuel and Marjorie (Sawyer) Licata.
Michele was a 1971 graduate of LaSalle Senior High School. She worked in the quality control department at Invenex Pharmaceuticals for 15 years and then at An-Core Industrial Plastics. Most recently, she was the kitchen manager at Judi's Lounge. Michele enjoyed caring for her family, especially babysitting her nieces and nephews.
Michele is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert Kos; and her son, Christopher Kos, both of the Town of Niagara. She is also survived by her brothers, Vincent (Darina) Licata, Samuel (Barbara) Licata, Robbi (Karen) Licata of Niagara Falls and Christopher (Cathy) Licata of Florida; her sisters, Gloria (Michael) Ziolkowski and Denise (Andrew) Cowe of Niagara Falls. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Stella (late William C.) Kos; her nieces and nephews, Vincent Licata, Jr., John Licata, Johnathon Healey, Gina Veihdeffer, Melanie (Chad) Gee, Kimberly Licata, Samuel Licata III, Robbi and Chantel Licata, Ronnie and Christopher Licata, Thomas and Timothy London, Krista Sesto and Andrew and Lisa (Boyd) Cowe; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Also survived by her Godchildren, Kimberly Licata, Amanda Healey and Julia Cowe.
THERE IS NO VISITATION. Private funeral services will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church with Reverend Dr. Isaac Ihiasota officiating. Donations in Michele's memory may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 616 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
