Emily V. Palladini

NIAGARA FALLS —

Emily V. Palladini, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY, left the arms of her loving husband and daughter to be in the arms of her heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Emily was born in Buffalo, NY, and attended local schools. On July 4, 1953 she married James V. Palladini at St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, and following her marriage moved to Niagara Falls where she has lived until the present time.
Emily began a long career in retail with the former Neisners Brothers in Buffalo. She later went on to work in Niagara Falls for the former Century Wholesale, McCrory's and D & K Discount Store until her retirement. Emily loved dancing, music and traveling.  In her leisure time she also enjoyed going to the casino. Emily will be missed mostly for her spark and zest for life. In addition to her husband of sixty years, Emily is survived by one daughter, Charmaine M. Palladini of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters, Rose (Joe) Congelosi of Lewiston, NY and Arlene (Frank) Kalstek of Cheektowaga, NY; one brother, Albert (Lily) Nappo of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. She was also predeceased by one sister, Delores (Terry of Canada) England; and one brother, Anthony (Sheila of Florida) Nappo.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 14th at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay O.S.F.S. officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Arrangements by M.J.
