SARASOTA, FL —
Beverly Elaine Ferritto, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, at home, surrounded by her loving family, while under the care of Tidewell Hospice. Born on November 28, 1927 in Norwich, NY, the daughter of William and Fanny Wilson.
Beverly was a 1946 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On September 3, 1949, she married Gregory W. Ferritto in St. Joseph's Church.
In addition to her husband, Beverly is survived by three sons, Gregory (Cynthia) of Great Lakes, IL, Jeffrey (Holly) of Kennewick, WA, Michael (Kathy) of Watertown, NY; and three daughters, Susan (Anthony) Quarcini of Niagara Falls, Judith (Dennis) Hunter of Stoney Creek, Ont., and Marcia of Sarasota, FL; and a sister, Betty (late Charles) Dewey of Denver, CO. She was the loving grandmother of Michael Ferritto, Jeffrey (Heather) Ferritto, Denise (Ben Krahn) Ferritto, Gregory (Erin) Aaron and Stefannie (Quentin Hock) Hunter, David and Anthony Quarcini, Jason, Ryan and Sean (Charlotte) Ferritto, Sarah (Michael) Brower, Tamara and Burt Ives; also nine great-grandchildren, MaKaylah, Joss Allie, Gabriella, Jacob, Beckett, Cadence, Lucas and Emily. Beverly was also predeceased by her son, William (Karen of Niagara Falls) Ferritto and two brothers, John and Woodrow Wilson and two sisters, Joann Tattenbaum and Katherine Wilson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 18th, at the Church of Incarnation, Sarasota, FL. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in Niagara Falls at a later day. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
