NIAGARA FALLS —
Gloria K. Dotson, 87, of Niagara Falls, departed this life on September 30, 2013 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born on January 14, 1926 in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of the late George and Thelma Hart. She moved to Niagara Falls 1945 and was the wife of the late Randolph Dotson.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist church. She was a former employee of Bird's Eye Frozen Food and was the former operator and owner of Flow n Glo on East Falls St., G&G on Highland Ave. Gloria was a loving and caring person and was known as a excellent cook.
Surviving is one daughter, Gloria V. (Sylvester) Scott; one son, Daryll Hill; five siblings, Arleen Matthews, Arelia Gamble, Mary Katherine Hart, Fredia Robertson and Thomas "Buddy" Hart; eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends, including Charlie May Ganier, Vivian Simmons; and a devoted granddaughter, Norkita Longmirer, who also was her caretaker. She was predeceased by her step-mother, Katherine Hart; beloved daughter, Bonnie Sue (Longmirer) Tillman; and siblings, Elouise Jones, George, Jr., James "Boozey" and Fred Hart.
Visitation Friday 6-8 PM in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1334 Calument Ave. Funeral services at 10 AM on Saturday in the church. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME, 635 Main St.
