Anthony E. Warner

PORT ST. JOHN, FL — Anthony E. Warner, formerly of Niagara Falls and Lewiston, passed away on March 2, 2013, after a short illness.

Anthony graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School and later Erie County Technical Institute with a degree in electronics. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired from Niagara Mohawk after 38 years as a Chief Trouble Mechanic A. He was very active in the community where he was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 72, instructed SCUBA diving, built special effects for the Little Theater and was a past Fire Chief of the Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Company.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Doris Shaffer; his two sons, Mark Warner of Yorktown, VA and Craig Warner of  Clay, NY. He had four grandchildren and three                great-grandchildren.
