NORTH TONAWANDA —
Shirley A. (Preuster) Osypian, a longtime resident of Niagara Falls, died on Sunday, April 7, 2013, in Northgate Health Care Facility. She was 79. Born in Niagara Falls on April 12, 1933, she was the daughter of John "Jack" and Myrna (Reynolds) Preuster. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
Mrs. Osypian enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling with her husband and family.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Osypian; six children, Linda (Bob) Moudy of Grand Island; Cheryl (Ken) Petrozzi of Kenmore; David (Terri) Osypian of Niagara Falls; Marc (Marie) Osypian of Rochester; Robert Osypian of Rochester; Becky (Mark) Aguzzi of Grand Island; a sister, Judy Preuster of Lewiston; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Laura Norris Buisch officiating. The interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
