Lydia A. Dingwall

NIAGARA FALLS —  

Lydia A. Dingwall, 59, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 in Erie County Medical Center Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late George and Lydia (Cummings) Dingwall and attended local schools.
Lydia worked at Lornamead in Tonawanda, NY as a line worker, she loved going to her family cabin in Canada to go fishing. She also enjoyed reading, the outdoors and was an avid Boston Bruins Fan.
She is survived by her daughter, Brande Whittle of the Town of Niagara; will be deeply missed by her granddaughter, Paige Perna; her great-nephew, Michael (Jen Lewin) Bartlett; her dog, Skyy; her extended families the Townsends and Howes; also many cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her fiance', Robert Thompson; and her brothers, George and John C. Dingwall.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 27th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC., 319-24th St., cor. Welch Ave., where funeral services will begin at 8:30 PM with Rev. Patrick Bradley officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
