Willie L. Carter, Sr.



Mr. Carter is survived by three daughters, Katherine "Kitty" Carter, Denise L. (Carter) Rodgers and Deborah Ann Carter, all of Niagara Falls, NY; two sons, Thornton S. (Kimberly) Carter of Houston, TX and Willie L. (Cynthia) Carter, Jr. of Newport News, VA; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by one Goddaughter, Tracey Robin Renford; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Willie also leaves to cherish his memory one very special son-in-law, Bennie Hughes; and two very best-friends, Cecil Perkins and Ruben Mitchell, all of Niagara Falls. He was predeceased by one daughter, Eunice Carter; one brother, Simuel Denmark; two sisters, Niga Denmark and Dorothy Bryant; and one grandson, Terrance Carter.
Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at St. John AME Church, 917 Garden Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 with the Rev. Bruce Points officiating. Arrangements by Williamson Funeral Home.
