NIAGARA FALLS —  

Patricia A. O'Leary, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, NY, while under the care of Niagara Hospice, following a brief illness. Born on April 1, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (O'Connor) O'Leary.
Pat, as she was known by family and friends, was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1947. From June of 1947 until her retirement in March of 1985, Pat worked as a secretary for E.I. DuPont. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Pat enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles. In her younger years, she loved to travel. Above all, Pat loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat is survived by one daughter, Bonnie O'Leary of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren, Melissa Frantz of Niagara Falls, NY and Sean Frantz of Florida; and three great-grandchildren, John "J.D.", Olivia and Lillianna "Lilly". She is also survived by one sister, Marie (late Jerry) Perrault of Ithaca, NY; and four nephews, Robin (Kate) Burns of Chicago, IL, Michael Burns of Niagara Falls, NY, Greg (Suzanne) Perrault of Trumansburg, NY and Tim (Irene) Perrault of El Paso, TX. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by one sister, Agnes "Nessa" Burns.
The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007) where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 15th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
