Julia F. Wacht

SANBORN —  

Julia F. Wacht, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Lewiston, NY. She was born in the Town of Niagara, the daughter of the late Andrew M. and Margaret (Tlomak) Wojtowicz.
Mrs. Wacht worked at Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls, NY. As a young woman, she enjoyed traveling with friends as part of a club they formed. She continued her interest in travel across the country and the world with her husband. Mrs. Wacht was a skilled crafter and her memory remains in the form of handmade dolls, afghans and floral arrangements in the homes of family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, baking and going to tag sales.
Mrs. Wacht was the wife of 52 years to the late Stephen Wacht, who passed away in March of this year. She is survived by one brother, John W. (late Mary P.) Wojtowicz; and one sister, Genevieve "Jackie" McNally. She is also survived by cousins and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews for whom she provided many special occasions and memories. Mrs. Wacht was the sister of the late William Wojtowicz, Helen Keeley and Jean Sherk.
The family will be present on Friday from 4-7 PM  at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY,  where funeral  services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM, with the Rev. Duane  R. Klizek officiating. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Park, Town of  Amherst, NY.
