BUFFALO — Salvatore "Sam" Trusello, 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY. Born on May 30, 1926, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Antonio and Elisa (Cubello) Trusello. On September 19, 1944, he enlisted in the US Army receiving the Army of Occupation Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and was honorably discharged as a Private August 1, 1946. Samuel worked at the family bakery, Trusello's, as a baker.

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Trusello of Niagara Falls, NY, and Lisa (John) Snow of CA; and his sister, Edith Colton of Niagara Falls, NY. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ida (Leo) Trusello; brothers, Richard and William Trusello; and sister, Leonora Trusello.

THERE IS NO PRIOR VISITATION. Private funeral services and entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
