Louis Salvatore Serianni


Louis Salvatore Serianni, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 31, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He was born on October 8, 1942 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Dominick "Firpo" and Lucy V. (nee DiRamio) Serianni.
A Niagara Falls native, Louis was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. Louis worked for the City of Niagara Falls in various departments for over 30 years retiring from the Waste Water Treatment Plant maintenance department in 2002. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler. Lou also enjoyed watching sports and old western movies and was a diehard NY Yankees Fan. Louis had a special relationship with his niece and nephew who will always remember his love and kindness.
He is survived by his two siblings, Rosemary Serianni of Greenacres, FL and Anthony (Mary) Serianni of Coral Springs, FL; one niece, Stefanie Serianni; one nephew, Richard (Kenzie) Serianni; one great-nephew, Bostin Joseph Serianni, all of Coral Springs, FL; one uncle, one aunt and several cousins who he spoke to almost daily.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 7, 2013 celebrated at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Arrangements by SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louis' memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York City, NY 10016.
