Robert G. "Bert" Lee

NIAGARA FALLS — Robert G."Bert" Lee, 74, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was born in  Scotland on December 13, 1938, and was the son of the late James and Anne (Frew) Lee. He attended schools there. Bert moved to the United States in 1973, and was employed as a salesman for R.B. Uren Equipment. Bert was a sports enthusiast who especially loved to play golf. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and taking long rides through the country side. He was also considered to be a pretty good handyman around the house.

He is survived by his wife, Joan (O'Neill) Lee of Niagara Falls, NY; brother, Andrew (Margaret) Lee of Scotland; sister, Anne (late Charles) Banbury of Scotland; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Sean (Nora) O'Neill of Ireland; and dear friends, Jane Travis of Niagara Falls, NY, Tary (Olga) Norton of Welland, Ontario Canada, Boyd (Christine) Clark of Niagara Falls, NY, and Joe Iacovviti and Carole Barker of Indiana. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Gary Lee and brother, Jim (Janet) Lee.

Robert's wishes were to donate his body to the University at Buffalo. Funeral services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary of the Cataract R.C. Church, 259-4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
